Alumnae Home Run Derby

Our 2nd Annual Alumnae Home Run Derby during reunions was another huge success, as we celebrated 30 years of Princeton Softball.  Many former players returned with their families and friends to reconnect with one another and meet our current players and coaches.
We had a lot of alumnae participate in this year's home run derby.  However, Amanda Erickson '06 was the only one to hit it out of the park for the win.

Amanda Erickson '06
Megan Weidrick '11 was announced as the Cindy Cohen Award winner, given annually to the senior who through sportsmanship, dedication, and consistent effort has been an inspiration to her teammates.

Alex Peyton '13 was the recipient of the Patton-Poole Award, given annually to the player who in play, sportsmanship, and influence has been most valuable to the team.

The Kathy Kobler Garrett '91 Memorial Award was presented to Lizzy Pierce '13 by two former teammates of Kobler Garrett.  The award is given to the member of the Princeton varsity softball team whose generosity, positive attitude, genuine consideration for others, and quiet energy makes her essential to the success of the team.

Everyone enjoyed getting back out on the field and sharing memories from their playing days.  Hopefully we will see even more alumns in attendance next year!
