After months of hard work and dedication both on the field
and in the classroom the team has left the Princeton campus and returned home
for their Winter Recess. Before leaving, however, the girls made all of our seasons
brighter at the Holiday Party! Together the team, fellows, and some alumni celebrated
the season at the home of Fellow Tara Christie Kinsey! The night was filled
with games, food, and many laughs!
For those of you looking at this picture and thinking, “Why
are these girls holding oven mitts, volleyballs, and orange knee pads?” the
answer is this: Each girl was given a gift that represented a workout they do
throughout the year! Yes, the girls do workout in oven mitts, with volleyballs,
and do need a knee pad every now and again!
The players know their coaches so well that they presented us
with gift cards to Panera! A perfect gift for a coaching staff that loves coffee and bread!
From our Princeton Softball family to yours we wish you a
very merry Holiday Season! We look forward to all the great things that will
come in the New Year! Happy Holidays and we will speak to you again in 2013!
