The Princeton Tigers ‘hit’ the ground running on March 1st
in Jacksonville Florida. Overall the team finished their opening weekend with a
3-2 record defeating St. Bonaventure and taking two from Delaware State University. After falling twice to UNF, the Tigers walked
away finishing second in their opening tournament. Overall, the Tigers finished
with 44 hits and only 3 errors. All efforts were made visible by the Ivy League Honor
sweep as Alyssa Schmidt walked away as Ivy League Player of the week and freshman

Fun, however, was not only to be found on the field but off
the field as well! The Tiger family joined together for a BBQ hosted by the
Crowe family! There was no better way to end the day than with wonderful food,
great friends, and an outstanding Tiger family! The Tigers will travel to
Baltimore this weekend to take on UMBC, Howard, Coppin State, and George
Washington.
