Spring Is In The Air

With the first games of the season being so close, the Tigers are itching to start playing.  We have been up to our typical February practice routine with inter-squads mixed in on the weekends.  Due to the mild weather, we have been fortunate enough to get outside on the field a few days for practice.  This bonus time outside will defnitely help the players make the transition back into game mode on the dirt and grass that much smoother.

The Tigers will be traveling to Baltimore for the UMBC Retriever Classic this weekend.  Their season opener is against 2-6 UMBC on Friday at 1:35 pm.  Then they play Niagra,who enters the tournament with a record of 0-5, at 5:20 pm.  On Saturday the Tigers are scheduled to take on Canisius who sits at 1-3 and James Madison who is 3-4 after facing some good competition their first two weekends out.  Princeton will end the weekend with another game against Canisius on Sunday at 9:15 am.  The girls are really excited to get back in action this weekend!
