Spring Break

The Tigers began their spring break trip at the University of Virginia Tournament this past weekend.  They faced some tough competition in Syracuse, Fordham, and UVA.  Khristin Kyllo was honored prior to the first game against UVA and a former teammate from her travel ball team presented Khristin's parents Tom and Julie with flowers.

Following the UVA tournament the Tigers headed to the Maryland/DC area to take on Georgetown on Wednesday.  The offense exploded, defeating the Hoyas 11-6 in game one and then 9-1 (6 innings) in game two.  The Tigers had a quartet of home runs on the day.  Alex Peyton, Maddie Cousens, and Lizzy Pierce each hit a three run home run in the first game and Kelsey VandeBergh blasted a grand slam in game two for the Tigers.
