Ivy Weekly Honors

Sophomore Alex Peyton was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for week 7.  Peyton had three starts and appeared in four games for the Tigers over the week.  She was 2-1 in the circle and had an 1.83 ERA.  Peyton picked up both wins in Ivy play against Harvard and Dartmouth.  She pitched 18 innings on the weekend, striking out 15 and allowing just 4 walks with a 1.17 ERA.  This is the Tigers' first Pitcher of the Week honor since Kris Schaus received it on April 8, 2008.

In week 4, junior Kelsey VandeBergh was named Ivy Player of the Week.  VandeBergh helped lead the Tigers during their spring break trip to a 6-2 record.  She hit .417 on the week with three doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, and slugged .916 while striking out just twice.  The award is the first for the Tigers since Collette Abbott received it on April 28, 2009.
