The Tigers took on the St. Mary's Gaels in a double header yesterday. Alex Peyton pitched game one, giving up one run, scattering 5 hits, and striking out 2. The Gaels jumped out to 1-0 lead in the first inning after a pair of walks and a 2 out RBI single. Princeton's best scoring opportunity came in the 4th inning when they had the bases loaded with 2 outs off of a single from Alyssa Schmidt, a walk from Kelsey VandeBergh and another single from Candy Button, but came up empty handed. The Tiger offense was kept to just four hits and the Gaels' first inning run would be enough for the win.

Liza Kuhn took the mound for Tigers in game two, giving up 2 runs, scattering 4 hits and striking out 7 batters. St. Mary's got on the board in the 3rd inning from a bases loaded walk and added another run in the 6th inning off an RBI infield single. The Tiger offense was kept at bay again, stranding 7 runners and only getting a hit each from Cara Worden and Nicole Ontiveros.

The Tigers close out their spring break trip at the Libby Matson Tournament at UOP where they take on UOP tnoight at 6 pm, San Diego State at 12 pm and St. Mary's at 2:15 pm on Friday, and UOP again on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
