The Tigers spent the last part of their spring break trip at the Libby Matson Tournament at UOP. Princeton dropped their first game to host UOP 5-0 on Thursday night. The Tigers' only hit came from Nicole Ontiveros in the top of the 1st inning. Pacific scored in the 1st inning off a solo home run then added another run in the 3rd, 2 runs in the 5th, and one more in the 6th to seal the win. Alex Peyton took the loss for the Tigers.

Princeton took on San Diego State in their next game and lost a close one in 9 innings. The Tigers scored in the 1st inning when Ontiveros lead off with a walk, stole second base then was plated by a Kelsey VandeBergh double. San Diego State pulled ahead in the 3rd inning with a lead off single followed by a 2 run home run off of starter Meredith Brown. The Tigers were able to tie it up in the top of the 7th with an Ontiveros double, followed by a sac bunt from Alyssa Schmidt and then an RBI single from VandeBergh. Princeton was unable to captilize on their international tie-breaker opportunities in the 8th and 9th, while the Aztecs were able to push a run across in the bottom of the 9th for the win. Liza Kuhn came on in relief in the 3rd inning and struck out 5 batters and scattered 4 hits.

The Tigers took on St. Mary's for a third time this trip but come up just short again. Princeton jumped on the board first with a solo home run from Maddie Cousens in the bottom of the 2nd. The Gaels then rallied in the 5th inning for 3 runs off of 3 hits and 1 Tiger error, all with 2 outs. Cousens led off the bottom of the 7th with a single and was followed by a sac bunt from Candy Button and eventually scored on a St. Mary's error. The Tigers' late rally fell just short as they took the 3-2 loss.

Princeton ended their spring break trip with yet another close loss, 4-3 to UOP. Pacific jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, scoring 3 runs in the 2nd off of 4 hits and adding one more run in the 3rd. The Tigers fought back with 3 runs in the 5th. Rachel Rendina led off with a bunt single, Ontiveros then drew a walk and Schmidt followed with a sac bunt. VandeBergh, Peyton, and Cousens each followed with an RBI single. Pacific ended the Tigers' rally with a ground out double play and held on to their 4-3 lead for the last 2 innings. Kuhn started in the circle for the Tigers, giving up 4 runs before Brown came on and pitched 3 shutout innings of relief.

The Tigers open up Ivy play this Friday and Saturday against Dartmouth and Harvard at 1895 Field.
